LASALLIAN

Lasallian holds a Master of Professional Psychology, a Bachelor of Social Science/Psychology, a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, a Bachelor of Music Education, a Graduate Diploma in Dance Education and several certifications in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. She is an Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registered Psychologist.

Lasallian’s background in psychology includes working with children, adolescents and adults across various settings including School Counselling, Workplace Rehabilitation, Employment and most recently Private Practice. She enjoys working in a variety of therapeutic contexts including traditional face-to-face, via telehealth, and in a paddock with a herd of horses. Lasallian spent many years as an educator and her work in Performing Arts has developed a particular interest in performance anxiety. She has a wealth of life experience having parented two children and she is now enjoying being a grandmother.

Issues treated but not limited to, include depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, suicidal thinking, deliberate self-harm, grief and loss, issues relating to sleep, work, relationships and parenting. Interventions from key evidence-based therapies employed are tailored to each client’s individual needs. These therapeutic modalities include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy [CBT], Acceptance Commitment Therapy [ACT], Dialectical Behaviour Therapy [DBT] and Gestalt Therapy.
